  • This 1973 Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior is a beautiful and original example of the marque’s classic sporting coupe. It is fresh out of cosmetic and technical restoration and in superb condition inside and out.

The traditional red-over-black specification goes well with the wooden dashboard inlays. The interior features a tasteful Bakelite-style three-spoke steering wheel, a Bakelite gear knob, a cigarette lighter, and adjustable quarterlight windows. It has 147,170 kilometers on the odometer.

The Alfa Romeo GT 1600 was penned by Bertone and produced between 1972 and 1975 to fill the gap between the GT 1300 and 2000 GTV. While 91,964 examples of the entry-level 1300 were built, only 13,120 were of the zestier 1600 variety.

The 1.6-liter Twin Cam straight-four churns out 109 horsepower to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. The GT 1600 tips the scales at a mere 1,020 kilograms and is a delightful driver’s car that any alfisti or alfista would adore.

This Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior rides on 15-inch GTA-replica alloy wheels, draped in Pirelli Cinturato tires and new Alfaholics suspension. It is a thoroughly appealing and usable example of Alfa Romeo’s debonaire 1970s sporting coupé, ready to be driven in a spirited fashion on its next owner’s favorite roads.

This car is sold, but we can assist you with all your needs and are looking to make classic car ownership practical and enjoyable.
