Ferrari F355 Berlinetta – 1997

In 1994, Ferrari introduced the F355, a significantly improved successor to the stylish yet flawed 348, marking a pivotal moment in the brand’s evolution. It bridged the gap between the traditional, hand-crafted Ferraris and a new era of modern technology. This model was the last Ferrari to be hand-built, yet the first to fully embrace modern technology.

The F355 was superior in every aspect. Its heart was a more powerful engine, featuring advanced five-valve cylinder heads and paired with a six-speed gearbox. Handling, refinement, and performance all saw substantial upgrades. And with its Pininfarina-designed body, the F355 is often hailed as one of the most beautiful mid-engine sports cars of its time.

This Motorcar

This Ferrari F355 Berlinetta was delivered new to the German market in the traditional Ferrari color combination of a Rosso Corsa exterior, beautifully complemented by a Nero interior and the now sought after option of a manual gearbox. The car was handed over to its first owner on September 9, 1997, through the Ferrari dealership Autohaus Wendelstein. The car remained in Germany for only two years, before being imported to Sweden, where it between three owners has resided since. The first kept the car until 2007, the second until 2015 when the last owner, a great friend of the company, acquired the car. During his ownership, he added only 7,000 km to the odometer, always keeping it in his private collection, using it sparingly but maintaining it diligently, Servicing it at his own dealership up until MOTIKON acquired the car in early 2025, To prepare it for sale, we addressed the common issue of sticky buttons and conducted a major service, including a cambelt change.
