Ferrari F512M – 1995

The final iteration of the Testarossa lineage arrived with the F512 Modificata. This third-generation model, produced in only 501 examples, represented the ultimate evolution of the Testarossa concept. It featured a more potent 4.9-liter V12 engine, producing 440 horsepower, and further refinements to the chassis and suspension for improved performance and handling. Visually, it remained true to the Testarossa’s distinctive design cues but incorporated modern touches. The F512 M was a fitting swan song for the Testarossa, showcasing Maranello’s continuous pursuit of perfection.

This Ferrari 512M was delivered new to the Italian market in the traditional combination of a Rosso Corsa exterior complemented by a Nero leather interior. The car was handed over to its first owner on February 24, 1995, through the Ferrari dealership Ineco Auto in Padova. After a few years in Italy, it was subsequently exported to Germany, where it remained until 2021, when it was imported to Sweden by one of the co-owners of MOTIKON—himself the owner of a well-curated collection primarily composed of Italian cars.

Upon acquisition, MOTIKON conducted a complete service and mechanical overhaul, ensuring the car’s mechanical integrity and making it ready to be enjoyed and driven as intended. Since then, it has been serviced annually. Notably, a Capristo exhaust has also been fitted.

To conclude, we present a rare opportunity to acquire a superb example of one of the all-time great “modern classic” Ferraris. Perhaps the best way to describe the car is simply: the Testarossa, perfected. Included in the sale are the original service book, Ferrari literature, and various documentation.
