Enzo Ferrari once said, “Jaguar’s E-Type is the most beautiful car in the world.” When the head of a company that made some of history’s most gorgeous machines says something like that, it carries great weight. No one could challenge him because Ferrari’s founder was right on point as this Jaguar game-changer went on to become the undisputed ‘most beautiful car of all time.’

Launched in 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show, the E-Type’s arrival seemed like a spaceship that had been transported back through time from the late nineties. The coupe’s long flowing bonnet, gorgeous proportions, and powerful engine made it a game-changer in the early 60s.

This Swedish sold series I E-type was delivered new to the first owner in Bromma/Sweden April 14th 1967 but “Production Record Trace Certificate #29400 shows that this E-type was produced already September 21st 1966 and shipped to Jaguar dealer Fredlunds in Stockholm October 5th.  Car is in absolutely unique original condition, carefully maintained and with truly solid documented history file.
