This lovely British Racing Green-over-tan 1973 Jaguar E-Type, VIN 1S1806, is a partially restored Series III example with fantastic ownership history, meticulous documentation, and a mere 67,690 kilometers on the odometer.
The grand touring ambitions of the Series III E-Type are well-known, and this 1973 variant is one of 7,990 open-top roadsters built between 1971 and 1974. The marvelous 5,3-liter V12 under the hood powers the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox, making it a sheer joy to drive.
This specimen has spent practically its entire life in Sweden and was first registered on October 3rd, 1975. This E-Type has meticulous documentation dating back to September 3rd, 1977, with the same ownership between 1979 and 2015. The car has been thoroughly inspected by classic car specialist MOTIKON of Uppsala, Sweden.
In 2016, it received a new mohair soft-top roof under the watchful eye of a well-renowned Swedish automotive enthusiast. The hardtop roof is included in the sale. Additionally, €30,000 was spent on several cosmetic and mechanical improvements including rust repair.
