  • The Lamborghini Islero was the replacement for the Lamborghini 400GT. The car debuted at the 1968 Geneva Auto Show and was named after a Miura bull. The 340 bhp, 3.9L DOHC V-12 engine with six Weber carburetors, a five-speed manual transmission and four-wheel independent suspension.

Only a total of 100 Islero 400 GTS models were made, making them a truly special car to come across. The GTS proved to be a much improved model over the Islero base model, and had many exterior modifications making it easily distinguishable from the earlier model.

Chassis #6492 is a very special Lamborghini Islero 400 GTS.

Lamborghini Polo Storico choosed to expose this car in its stand on Techno Classica in Essen 2018.   The car is accompanied with pictorial restoration images.
