Mercedes Benz 250 SE Coupé – 1966
This impeccable 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 (W111) has been in the same family – father and son – between October 17th, 1966, and March 13th, 2015. It has been driven just 47,180 kilometers since new and never washed with water, making it a wholly original and flawless example of the sought-after Heckflosse – Fintail – Mercedes.
It has resided its entire life on the island of Gotland, off the coast of Sweden, where road salt is not used. It was recently brought over to the mainland by us, and everything has been meticulously documented. Inspection papers, manuals, and receipts are all provided with the car.
It is a true time capsule in every way possible – look, smell, and feel. It is a piece of automotive history that has stood the test of time, something that Paul Bracq, the designer, has ensured. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful Mercedes-Benz models produced.
This Mercedes-Benz 250 was used sparingly and was only driven on Sundays, and is believed to have cleaned after each use, without using water. As a result, the car is in near-new condition, and the paint looks like it just rolled out of the factory in Stuttgart, Germany.
The straight-six M 129 I engine is a smooth gem of an engine. The 150 horsepower it produces in 250-guise is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed column-mounted manual gearbox. This 250 SE is an authentic grand tourer from one of Mercedes’ most notable eras.
The immaculate condition of this W111 is also reflected in the interior, which is finished in a flawless Mittelrot red leather interior with a black steering wheel. The car has been serviced by us and has been fitted with a new exhaust and brakes. It is truly a remarkable specimen that both looks and feels new.
This 1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 SE is ready for its new home and comes from a time when Das Beste Oder Nichts was a mantra, not simply a slogan. In the marque’s 137-year history, the W111 Fintail Coupé is one of the most iconic models, with almost 400 000 units built in its 12-year life span.
This 250 SE comes with spotless history and sensational condition, an actual historical automotive gem. This W111 is the one to have if you truly are looking for the best or nothing. We can assist you with all your needs and are looking to make classic car ownership practical and enjoyable..
