Motikon – Made to Order

Jaguar E-type Motikon – Made to order
MOTIKON is thrilled to announce that we currently have examples of the highly sought-after Jaguar E-Type in restoration. The sheer beauty of the E-Type and its excellent driving characteristics makes it a lovely addition to any garage.
It was unveiled at the 1961 Geneva Salon and swiftly made headlines thanks to its remarkable design. The E-Type was Jaguar founder Sir William Lyons’ magnum opus and cemented its place in the books of automotive history early on.
Not only did the E-Type establish itself as a piece of automotive art, but the engineering on offer – especially at the price and at the time – was remarkably advanced. The straight-six engine was a masterpiece, while the disc brakes ensured the E-Type stopped as well as it went.
Since its inception, the E-Type has meandered its way to the top of the most iconic cars of the 20th century, not to mention one of the most desirable classic cars out there. We want to allow our customers to experience what Jaguar’s customers had the chance to do in the 1960s and 70s: order their made-to-order Jaguar E-Type.
All cars are reborn in the same condition as on the day they rolled out of the factory in Coventry. Our cars will be completely renovated with the customers’ unique choice of paint job and interior upholstery. The cars will be both cosmetically and mechanically overhauled, with some modern additions such as electronic ignition, the possibility of adding air conditioning, and a new Hi-Torque starter motor.
An extensive list of the exact improvements can be supplied on request. Get in touch with us now to secure your very own reborn Jaguar E-Type.
Mercedes-Benz Pagoda – Made to order
A reborn Mercedes-Benz W113. MOTIKON is proud to announce that we currently have specimens of the desirable Mercedes-Benz W113 in restoration. The model, more commonly referred to as the Pagoda, was developed under the watchful eye of none other than Fritz Nallinger and Rudolf Uhlenhaut.
Penned by the celebrated Paul Bracq and Béla Barényi, the W113 is one of the true motoring icons of the 20th century. It was unveiled at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show, and its new Germanic design starkly contrasted with the more rounded designs of the time.
At launch, the W113 was twice as expensive as the Jaguar E-Type, indicating the tank-like build quality and refinement that the Pagoda offers to this day. It is one of the most sought-after collectors’ cars in recent years.
The W113 is well-liked amongst enthusiasts for its combined sporting and grand touring characteristics. All five of our cars are in the sought-after 280 SL iteration, which finally gave the W113 the power to match its sporting prowess.
All cars are reborn into the same condition as on the day they rolled out of the factory in Sindelfingen. All five of our Pagodas are equipped with the well-suited fluid-flywheel automatic gearbox.
Our cars will be completely renovated with a new interior, new paint, and an overhaul of the engine, and they will receive a complete EU specification conversion. Additionally, several upgrades will be made – such as an electronic ignition – all to maximize reliability while retaining originality.
