Mercedes-Benz 560 SL– 1987

Brabus Classic restoration

This R107-generation 560 SL is a ‘time warp’ example of the striking modern-classic roadster, restored by Brabus Classic and finished in an attractive colour scheme. It is powered by a 5.6-litre V8 engine, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.

This example was fully rebuilt by Brabus Classic in 2015 to a superb standard, with the aim of making the car better than it was when new. The invoice states that this rebuild had a cost of 136.850 EUR.

While originally a US market car, this 560 SL was converted to the European specification exterior appearance as part of the ground-up refurbishment. During the restoration of the car, the colour was changed to its current stunning colour combination Dark Blue over Dattel colour from its original red and beige.

The odometer was reset during the restoration and now shows 5,367 km (3,335 miles).  Prior to the car’s restoration it had covered 69,765 km (43,350 miles) from new. Registered in Sweden since 2015
